Science Gateways
Science gateways combine many different cyberinfrastructure elements, including domain-specific applications, to enable access to advanced computing and data resources for researchers, educators and students through user-friendly web interfaces.
The Delta Gateway sees the continually evolving and advancing ecosystem of science gateways, and other web-based interfaces to research computing and data resources, as a key force in promoting the further adoption of computational and data-intensive research methods across all science and engineering domains.
To achieve our goals in this space, NCSA has partnered with the San Diego Supercomputer Center’s Science Gateways Community Institute (SGCI) both to develop Delta’s own science gateway and to ensure Delta integrates with and supports as many already-operational science gateways as feasible.
The Delta Science Gateway is live and available at https://gateway.delta.ncsa.illinois.edu/.
