National Science Foundation
Delta is supported by the National Science Foundation through award OAC 2005572. DeltaAI is supported by the National Science Foundation through award OAC 2320345.
National Artificial Intelligence Research Resource Pilot (NAIRR)
NAIRR is a concept for a shared national research infrastructure to bridge this gap by connecting U.S. researchers to responsible and trustworthy Artificial Intelligence (AI) resources, as well as the needed computational, data, software, training, and educational resources to advance research, discovery, and innovation. NCSA is proud to partner with NAIRR in this program by offering allocations on the Delta and DeltaAI systems.
Science Gateways Community Institute at SDSC
NCSA partners with The Science Gateways Community Institute (SGCI) in delivering its vision for modern computing and data resources that are usable and accessible to the broadest possible community of users. SGCI works closely with NCSA to develop and implement this vision.
National Deep Inference Fabric (NDIF)
Developed by Northeastern University in partnership with the NCSA’s DeltaAI computing cluster, NDIF is a research computing project whose mission is to enable researchers and students to crack open the mysteries inside large-scale Artificial Intelligence systems. NDIF consists of the following three major components: a nationwide high-performance computing fabric, a novel open-source research software library and a nationwide training program.
Advanced Cyberinfrastructure Coordination Ecosystem: Services & Support (ACCESS)
ACCESS is an NSF-funded virtual organization that integrates and coordinates the sharing of advanced digital services – including compute resources and high-end visualization and data analysis resources – with researchers nationally to support science. Delta and DeltaAI partner with ACCESS to deliver training and advanced application support, allocations, outreach, broadening participation and community engagement and more.
School of Information Sciences
NCSA is proud to partner with the School of Information Sciences and the University of Illinois Division of Disability Resources & Educational Services (DRES) to explore and reduce barriers to access on Delta.
