Delta: Partnerships

Partnerships

Delta is possible owing to key partnerships that deliver value to the project and the broader science and engineering research and education community.

National Science Foundation

Delta is supported by the National Science Foundation through award OAC 2005572

Science Gateways Community Institute at SDSC

NCSA partners with The Science Gateways Community Institute (SGCI) in delivering its vision for a modern computing and data resource that is usable and accessible to the broadest possible community of users. SGCI works closely with NCSA to develop and implement this vision.

The Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE)

XSEDE is an NSF-funded virtual organization that integrates and coordinates the sharing of advanced digital services – including compute resources and high-end visualization and data analysis resources – with researchers nationally to support science. Delta partners with XSEDE to deliver training and advanced application support, allocations, outreach, broadening participation and community engagement, and more.

School of Information Sciences

NCSA is proud to partner with the School of Information Sciences and the University of Illinois Division of Disability Resources & Educational Services (DRES) to explore and reduce barriers to access.
